Exhibitor/Technology showcases kicked off the day on Tuesday. Hosted in six different rooms, representatives gave visitors 20-minute introductions to close to 100 different companies and their latest products and services. Showcases are the place to find new innovations in chemical manufacturing. | 
Visitors attended Networking Roundtables, professionally designed, organized and presented by Scientific Update, LLC, to provide an educational content. Attendees were given in-depth information on four topics, including: Novel Technologies for Future Manufacturing, Increasing Efficiency in Chemical Process and R&D, Scale-ups: What goes Wrong, and Green Chemistry. |
The Welcome Reception, sponsored by Dixie Chemical, took place on Tuesday evening and not only served to usher in Informex 2008 but also offered a casual meeting place where business professionals were able to network over hors d'oeuvres before the rush of the show began the next day. | 
It’s plain to see that Informex 2008 had a healthy number of visitors with attendance was up 3% over 2007. |
