InformexUSA ‘08 Makes an Impressive Return to NOLA

You could hardly notice the hundreds of Mardi Gras floats motoring past the Morial Convention Center this morning when InformexUSA was in full-swing as attendees networked with a record-setting exhibitor group. While the final numbers aren’t in yet, the 2008 InformexUSA will see growth over last year’s event in San Francisco. And there is no doubt at all that Informex is back in New Orleans.

This first day of the exhibition followed a jam-packed event at the Hilton Riverside on Tuesday, where standing-room crowds attended over 100 exhibitor and technology showcases. Educational and bridge-building events such as the Chinese Opportunity Day and four Networking Roundtables brought people of diverse backgrounds to sound off on some of the most important issues facing the custom and specialty chemical industry.

Informex and the chemical industry will celebrate its return to New Orleans tonight with a first-ever Gala Dinner – A New Orleans Renaissance – that will feature a keynote talk by General (Ret.) Colin Powell and the food, sounds and fun of the Crescent City. Approximately 650 people will attend; an impressive number for this first ever gala event.
